iPhone 4.0 Features
The iPhone 4 has a whole host of new features that represent a real improvement on previous models. Some key features, in addion to the overhauled interface, include:
Multitasking:
Double click your home button, and you get a list of running apps. Its easy to select and switch between them.
Quicker app switching
When you switch away from the app it can now be paused, so that when you reopen it, it's restored to exactly the state they were in when they were closed.
Local notifications
If something important happens in an app you've opened and switched away from, an alert message will will appear in whatever app you're currently viewing.
App folders
Apps can now be organised into folders. Folders can be named and renamed.
Unified Inbox
Unified Inbox allows users to see messages from all their email accounts displayed together in a single inbox.
iBooks
iBooks is an ebook reader app and accompanying ebook store allowing you to store your books on your iPhone.
