iPhone Virtual Assistant
Siri is an iPhone app that responds to spoken commands and uses the internet to carry them out. It is a spin-off from a US military project to develop an artificially intelligent assistant.
Siri can find a restaurant, the nearest coffee shop, or what is the weather forecast.
For example, you can ask Siri to "Book a table for two at a reasonably priced Mexican restaurant in London." Siri responds by presenting a list of low to medium priced restaurants that can be booked on OpenTable.com. Give it a time and it will book a table. Siri uses 35 sites, from taxi booking sites to movie review databases.
