Google Latitude on the iPhone
Users of the iPhone are now able to use Google Latitude to track the location of friends in real time.
The app displays the location of your friends or family on a Google map, along with a thumbnail mug shot (see picture above).
To use the system effectively, iPhone users must lock the phone with the Google app running. That will keep the phone updating until batteries are exhausted.
